Time to go home

I've had a great visit in Florida although the weather hasn't been great - until today. The day I leave. Oh well - played golf four times and have had some great visits. Looking forward to getting back to Denver so I can ski! Hitting the slopes with Ray and Pudge this Thursday.

Tampa

I'm in Tampa for a week to celebrate the holidays w/ mom & dad. Having fun but the weather sucks. Cold and raining! Played golf on Wed and hope to get out on Sat. Meeting Beth & Todd for dinner this evening. I'm here til Tues and I hope the weather improves!

Vail

Scored the condo at Vail saturday nite so we hit the road after the football game (FL vs AL) and enjoyed the hot tub. Got up early Saturday and skied all day. Great conditions for so early in the season. They had World Cup races at Beavercreek all weekend and I wish we would have made it over there to watch. Check out the pic. Note the word "almost" in the text. Wow.

Ski at A-Basin

Well, the cold front moved in so I called Ray to see if he wanted to ski on Tuesday. Gotta try out the new boots! Great snow with more on the way. It was cloudy and cold but the skiing was really good.

69 and sunny on Monday

So I played 18 at City Park GC. Had a great time and was paired with two of the best golfers I've ever known. Humbling.
